Shoes for Shoeless Residents of Huancito, Michoacán
Some residents of this beleaguered village don’t have a single pair of shoes. Children run through the village streets where they are at risk for cutting themselves on the jagged cobblestones of the village streets. Other residents look forward to a freezing winter without shoes to warm their feet.
